Aaliyah Haughton made headlines in 1994, when she dropped her debut album Age isn't just a number. Her album, which was made available at just 15 years old was certified Gold. This collaboration, heavily in the direction of R. Kelly's music, put her in the limelight. In 1996, she teamed up with Jermaine Dpri and Timbaland on her sophomore studio album One In A Million, that included the top-selling song If Your Girl only Knew. However, she uses both Aarti Mann as well as Aarti Majumdar for professional name. She started her acting career with minor TV and film roles, but her popularity was growing in the late 2000s. She has also appeared in Leverage, Suits, Grey's Anatomy as well as Grey's Anatomy. The actress has been featured in a variety of commercials for Volvo's international automobile producer. She has a daughter, is a resident of Los Angeles and is pursuing acting.
