Jeanie Marie Buss has been an American Entrepreneur for more than twenty years. Buss is the founder and director of the Los Angeles Lakers National Basketball Association. Buss hails from California is a member of an extremely wealthy family. Jerry Buss is her father. He was an estate tycoon, and later the owner of Lakers, among other businesses. In 1972, her parents separated in divorce and she was left feeling emotionally lost. As a 19-year-old she inherited the Los Angeles Strings professional Tennis team as the General Manager. The team was later renamed in the Los Angeles Blades, a professional roller-hockey team. The position she held was president of Great Western Forum prior to becoming vice-president for the Lakers. Buss inherited Lakers ownership Lakers through her father's estate in the year 2013. Five siblings of hers inherited it through a family trust. Her duties were assumed as the president of Los Angeles Lakers. Buss was also a owner of a portion of Women of Wrestling (a Los Angeles-based pro-wrestling association).
