April Ross

April Ross has won more than one medal at the Olympics. She is among only a handful of women beach volleyball athletes to have achieved this feat. Alix-Klineman will be competing with April Ross Tokyo to win her third gold medal over the coming days. Ross hopes to win her Olympic the first medal of gold but she's also hoping to earn even more. As she turns 39, it could be her last chance to win the gold medal at an Olympics. Nevertheless she is confident that winning the gold medal is at hand. Ross told NBC Boston that if they are at their absolute best or even a good game her team could win a gold medal. Additionally, I'm going put my faith in a touch of luck. Ross was born in California, Costa Mesa in 1982. Her parents and her sister lived there. Ross went on to play in a myriad of activities in Newport Harbor High School. The prep sports she played included indoor volleyball along with basketball, track and running. She was definitely the best at the sport of indoor volleyball. In her own biography, during high school she was a volleyball player as an outside setter (middle blocker) and the setter (outside blocker). For her efforts she was awarded in 1999 as the Gatorade International Player of the year in Circle of Champions. The skills she showed in volleyball also brought her the Orange County Athlete of the Awards in 2000. Even though Ross Klineman and Ross are a couple since the year 2017, Klineman was already an established athlete on the beach even before the pair formed. In actual Ross has been a winner of several significant tournaments during her time with two partners. One of them is a volleyball legend. Jennifer Kessy was her partner for six years, from 2007 to 2013. She also worked with Klineman and herself. Kessy and Ross were a formidable force in the world circuit, winning a 2009 world title with each other. They eventually won a silver medal in the 2012 Olympic Games in London. Misty May, Kerri Walsh and Kerri Jennings were the group that could take home the gold. Ross Jennings took over for May-Treanor after she retired. The pair won bronze in the Rio Olympics for beach volleyball. Ross played for the Trojans at USC during her the college years following her graduation from in high school. Ross's time in the Trojans was amazing. In 2000, she was named Pac-10 Freshman and NCAA Freshman Of The Year. She was also named an All-American. The team also saw her help in helping the Trojans get to into the Final Four. She endured a great personal defeat in her sophomore year yet was able to achieve the All-American award. The last two years with the Trojans' program the team was led to success by winning two successive national titles. Her individual achievements have cemented her status as a legend in volleyball. She was awarded the Honda Sports Award 2003-04 for the top female NCAA player. Ross was a student at USC in International Relations. Margie Ross was not able to see Ross achieve beach volleyball's top levels. Ross's mom passed away due to breast cancer when she was a sophomore in USC. She continues to remember her deceased parent close and dear. And Margie is an ongoing source of motivation for her at the beaches and throughout the world of.
